Silent Auction and Benefit Concert Success!

A big THANK YOU to everyone who braved the cold temperatues and down pours to attend the Benefit Concert by Julianne Park and the Silent Auction at the Daneil's Recital Hall last Thursday! We raised nearly $2,500 and both events were a great success!  I think I mentioned a few "thank yous" during the event, but I am sure I forgot someone, so here goes:

Thank you to...
  • Maria, Dan, Mom, Dad, Grandma, Katie, David, Nora, Julianne and Uncle Johnny for coming, donating and volunteering!
  • To Chet and Julianna for the Matt's in the Market amazing food.
  • Thank you to Willow Crest Wineries (and Juan Garza) for the lovely wine.
  • all the generous silent auction item donors
  • to Julianne Park and Wade Digman for the gorgeous afternoon of music at the Benefit Concert
  • Nitze-Stagen for the event spaces
  • the UW Landscape Architecture Department of the donation of books with specific thanks to Iain Robertson and Nancy Rottle
  • to the UW MLA classmates for the support, words of encouragement, and attending the events!
  • to the "sail away" steering committee: Lori Tang, Juliana Loli, Jill Ball, Alison Fay, Meagan Dockter, Lori Chase, Sherry Leigh-evens, Clayton Beaudoin, Jeff Smith, Juan Garza, Nancy Rottle, Amelia Kaune and James Minstrell.
  • to the Seattle Design Commission for their support!
